Taha starts an Arab tour to explain the inter- Sudanese peace agreement

The first Sudanese vice president Ali Othman Taha started yesterday from Cairo an Arab tour which will lead him to Tripoli and Cairo and will concentrate on the peace process in Sudan, while one of the rebel groups in Darfour accused Khartoum of violating the truce agreement.
The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will be meeting today with the Sudanese official who will brief him on the details of the peace agreement between the Sudanese government and the "people's movement for the liberation of Sudan." Taha, however, is accompanied among other members by Riyadh Jai the chairman oof the coordination council of southern states and the foreign minister in Sudan Mustafa Othman Ismael.
After Egypt, the delegation will move to Libya and Saudi Arabia in order to hold talks with the Libyan and Saudi leaders on the peace agreements signed with the rebels movement in southern Sudan.
Meantime, the rebel al-Adel Walmusawat ( Justice and Equity ) movement accused Arab militias supported by government forces and planes of attacking its forces near the borders with Chad in a recent violations of the cease fire in Darfour. An official in the movement said that the rebels killed 36 members of al-Janjawid members and the government forces at a time when no human casualties were inflected in the rebels side.
On the other hand, observers of the African federation yesterday had a headquarters in al-Fasher in North Darfour estate so as to be the starting point for carying out observatory operations of the cease fire in the area.
In London, the British minister of Iinternational development, Hillary Bin, who recently arrived back from a visit to Darfour said that the response of the UN to the humanitarian crisis in the area is limited and very late.
