Lebanon files a complaint to the UN security council over the Israeli raid

Lebanon has filed a complained to the UN Security Council in protest of the Israeli raid against its south, while the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud condemned in a statement the Israeli raid and considered it as " another flagrant violaions of the Lebanese sovereignty that falls in the course of the Israeli aggressive practices against Lebanon."

On the other hand, the Israeli defense minister Shaoul Mofaz reiterated, in a statement quoted by the website of the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot, threats made by his deputy, saying that the Israeli raid was " a clear warning to that Israel will not be subjected before any violations of its lands."

The Israeli deputy minister of defense Zaef Bweim warned that " Israel will not permit Lebanon to be the starting point to launch terrorist attacks on its territories. "
