One American is killed in Riyadh

A spokesman for the American embassy in Saudi Arabia confirmed the killing of one American citizen in the Saudi capital Riyadh by the bullets of unidentified persons on Tuesday.
An executive director at the " Venel" company where the killed American was working said that he was working in the company which he said was providing training services to the Saudi national guards forces.
The American was killed in al-Khaleij quarters in Riyadh as he was coming out of a clinic from" al-Kahrubaa" ( electricity) quarters, according to security sources.
This Americam however, is the third to be attacked in Riyadh within two days. Two British journalists working for the BBC were attacked on Sunday in al-Sweidi quarters in Riyadh and one of them was killed while the correspondents was strongly injured.
This new incident came after a statement attributed to al-Qaida organization " in the Arab penensula " yesterday warned against launching new attacks at American and western interests in the countries of the Arab Penensula.
The statement which was issued by a website on the Internet in support of al-Qaida said that all bases, complexes and communications especially American and western airlines will be direct targets in the next operations of the group within the nearby future.
The statement urged Muslims to be away from the Americans and the westerners and their areas of existence.
