Al-Assad confers with Speaker of Kazakh Parliament

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received this morning Speaker of Kazakh Parliament, Zharmakhan Tuyakbai and an accompanying delegation.
During the meeting which was attended by Speaker of the People's Assembly, Mahmoud Abrash, the two sides reviewed the historical and cultural relations between the two countries and prospects of developing them further in parliamentarian, economic, trade and tourism spheres so that they would reflect positively in the interests of the two friendly peoples. The delegation expressed support to Syria's stances and just causes.
