Tunisian President wife patrons celebations of the day of the disabled

The Tunisian Charity "Basma" society which is presided over by Tunisia's First Lady, Layla Bin Ali, organized several social, cultural and economic activities transmitted live on the Tunisian space satellite "27," marking the annual celebration of the disabled annual day.
Tunisian citizens, artists, organizations and journalists contributed to the success of the event which resulted in donations exceeded USD 2 million within 16 hours.
In a speech on this occasion, the wife of the Tunisian President said " this supportive generousity will help societies concerned to provide support for this vulnerable social strata the disabled to developing their works in various fields especially in areas of disability prevention; enhancing health and social services provided to disabled and supporting means enabling the disabled to join occupational activities and to be integrated into society."
