Al-Abrash, Kazakh Speaker of Parliament hold joint Press Conference

Syria's People's Assembly Speaker, Mahmoud al-Abrash on Monday reiterated Syria's commitment to just and comprehensive peace in accordance with the international resolutions.
In a joint press conference with Kazakh Speaker of Parliament, Zharmakhan Tuyakabay, Al-Abrash stressed Syria's overt and clear stances regarding combating the international terrorism, freeing the Middle East from weapons of mass destruction away from bias policy.
For his part, Tuyakabay underlined Syria's important and vital role in the region, due to its prominent position, and in the Organization of Islamic Conference OIC noting to both countries' s identical points of view in the international circles towards a number of issues.
Regarding the US sanctions he said: " this procedure contradicts the international law" asserting his country's rejection to hegemony policy and illegitimate acts.
Tuyakabay renewed his country's stand by Arab just causes.
He emphasized the deep-rooted historical relations between Syria and Ukrainian stressing the necessity of developing them in service of the two friendly peoples.
Earlier, Kazakh Speaker of Parliament, Zharmakhan Tuyakabay and an accompanying delegation arrived in Damascus yesterday on a visit to Syria.
