UN fact-finding mission visits Quneitra

A delegation representing the UN fact-finding mission, during its visit to Quneitra Saturday, met with Deputy Chairman of the Executive bureau of Quneitra's governorate Council, Nadim Mirza.
Mirza briefed the delegation on the deliberate and total devastation of Quneitra by the Israeli Army a few days before its withdrawal from the city in 1974.
He also noted to the Israeli daily practices conducted against Arab citizens in the occupied Golan Heights where it confiscates their lands, expels citizens and expands it settlements.
Mirza handed the mission a report on the Israeli violations of human rights in the occupied Golan.
Members of the Committee confirmed that they came to Quneitra in order to be briefed on Israeli forces deliberated destruction of the city by themselves and that their report due to be submitted to the UN General Assembly will include all these practices.
