Scores killed, injured in Iraq including brother of the man cheated Ode and Qusai, suicide explosion in one American base in al-Taji

Iraq had witnessed during the two past days a wave of attacks and explosions that targeted the lives of killed and other scores were injured. The main operation was that by two booby trapped cars that targetted one American base in al-Taji area, while another one targeted a convoy of foreign guards near the airport, Abu Musab al-Zirqawi claimed responsible for.

Medical sources said that nine Iraqis were killed and other 68 injured, at least, including five members of the Iraqi civil defense members in an explosion of two booby trapped cars yesterday at the entrance of one American base where Iraqi security members were trained in al-Taji area on the northern entrance of Baghdad. The American occupation army announced the killing of 6 persons in this operation and wounding of other 20 including three American soldiers.

" The military wing of al-Tawhid and al-Jihad group" led by Abu Mus'ab al-Zirqawi claimed responsibility for the operation in a statement issued on the Internet. The statement said that " in a persistent determination, two of your brothers of al-Tawhid and al-Jihad groups attacked the headquarters of the Americans and their allies." The Polish foreign ministry announced yesterday that four civilians including two Polish working in " Black water" American security company, specialized in protecting figures, were killed in an attack against their procession in Baghdad, noting that the two other killed persons are expected to be Americans.

The Polish charge de affairs in Baghdad said that two Polish citizens were killed in an atack on Saturday on the road leading to Baghdad's International airport, stressing that two Americans were killed. On Saturday, the American army announced the killing of three persons in this attack.. Earlier "Black water" company which assumed the security of the American administrator of Iraq, Paul Bremer, announced it had lost four employees by the end of March in al-Falluja and that their bodies were mutilated.

The Polish ministry continued that foreigners in a sedan car were attacked at the airport road on Saturday and following the meeting two cars were seen burnt and two bodies at least.

Meantime, one official at the civil defense in Kout said that two Iraqis were killed and a third wounded in an explosion yestreday in this city when persons were trying " weapons for the former Iraqi army." The director of the oil products distribution in Zee Qar governorate Ali Jami was killed on Saturday when unidentified persons opened fire at his car while he was going to his office in al-Nasereyah.

The American army announced the killing of one British security man and wounding of three others when gunmen opened fire at their car on Saturday in al-Musil.

Medical sources said that 17 Iraqis were injured on Saturday in an attack by mortars shelling that targeted a center for recruitment of the new Iraqi army in al-Musil.

The Iraqi police said that gunmen killed on Saturday Salah al-Zeidan, brother of Nawaf al-Zeidan who is beleived to have cheated to the American forces the place of hiding Ode and Qusi Saddam Hussein who were hiding in his Villa in al-Musil. The police added that two of al-Zeidan's relatives and one of his friends were injured in the same attack which targeted Salah's car.

Meantime, a spokeswoman for the American army said ysterday that the American forces will keep several Iraqi detainees considered as dangerous, following handing over the authority to the Iraqi government on June 30, while the occupation army announced it had released a new patch of prisoners from Abu Ghreib jail.
