Egyptian society warns against the assassination of the civil state

The Egyptian society in charge of legal support for the Egyptian human rights yesterday warned against the al- Salafeyah group possible assassination of researcher Ahmad Ismael after attacking him by beating and accusing him as a " non believer."
A statement issued by the society said that members of the al-Salafeyah group " attacked researcher Ahmad Ismael at al-Fajer center for human rights and accused of being as a " non believer." The society indicated that the Islamic researches society prevented the publication of a novel by Nawal Saadawi under the title ' the fall of the Imam," warning that this act will be an introduction to assassinate her.
The statement attributed that to the " campaign of assassinating the constitution and the civil state in Egypt through accusing others as 'non believers' and the inspection courts practiced by al-Salafeyah groups and the researches center, with their practices escalated after a decision by the Minister of justice in Egypt Farouk Seif al-Naser to authorize judicial authorities for al-Azhar mosque inspectors." The statement explained that the decision enables al-Azhar inspectors from " confiscating religious tapes and printings and violating religious sermons. A matter which is considered a confiscation and a flagrant violation of the constitution.. The ministerial decision is in contradiction with the freedom of expression and scientific researches guaranteed by the Egyptian constitution in article number 49."
The society called for reviving the Egyptian committee in defense of the freedom of thinking and belief so as " to challenge this multifaceted onslaught by the government and the repressive forces against the Egyptian society as a whole." The society also called for convening a national conference for the democratic forces and the civil society organizations to withstand this fierce onslaught."
