King Abdullah briefs G-8 on the Arab position

Jordan announced yesterday that the Jordanian King Abdullah II will take part in the next meeting of the G-8 which will be held on June 8 in the USA where he will talk about the questions of Palestinian and Iraq and the Arab- Israeli conflict.

The spokeswoman for the Jordanian government Asmaa Khuder said that Abdullah "will brief the leaders on the Arab position concerning various issues as well as results of the Arab summit and will reiterate the importance of solving the Palestinian question in its being an integral part of the reform operation in the region."

She added:" the Jordanian king will highlight the Jordanian efforts in the process of reform and development operations already started and will try to attract investment."
