Mauritanian premier in Morocco for high joint commission

Mauritanian prime minister, Sghair Ould M'Bareck, arrived Tuesday afternoon to Rabat where he will co-chair with his Moroccan peer, Driss Jettou, the 4th meeting of the high joint commission, to be held, May 25-26.

The Mauritanian premier told reporters he was "convinced that this meeting of the joint commission will reinforce the distinguished cooperation that binds the two brotherly peoples."

He said he will be meeting Moroccan officials on means to consolidate bilateral cooperation, and that a package of agreements will be signed which will "give them fresh impetus."

"We will examine with Moroccan officials all the issues of interest to us as neighbor countries and questions related o the Arab world," he said. The proceedings of the high joint commission started Monday morning at the level of experts, the foreign ministry said in a release.
