First Egyptian oil investment company starts business

Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi said that the first Egyptian oil investment company "Sarwa" started its business by 5 agreements in the exploration areas in the Western Desert and North Sinai off the Mediterranean.
The agreements were signed with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company.
Fahmi's remarks came yesterday in a meeting with members of the People's Assembly Industry and Energy Committee under Amin Mubarak.
