Four Americans and British were killed, clashes in Sader city and Najaf

1st Issued statistics showed the acts of killings committed by the occupation forces in Iraq, as the Iraqi health ministry announced that more than 1,000 Iraqis were killed and more than 2,000 injured since the beginning of confrontation between the occupation forces and resistance members in area in the center of Iraq and its south on April 5th.
The official in the Iraqi health ministry operations room, Jamal al-Ani, said since the beginning of the confrontation on April 5th, 1168 were killed and 2350 injured in all the Iraqi governorates and in Baghdad." he added " those fell in the military confrontations and the explosions took place in Baghdad and the other Iraqi cities and have no connections to operations of special conflicts among people or traffic accidents." Al-Ani said that " among the killing are 49 women, 37 children and among the wounded are 152 women and 73 children." The health official indicated that " 450 persons were killed and 865 injured in Najaf and Karbala cities and 290 killed and 1215 injured in Baghdad as from April 5th." Worthy mentioning that Falluja has seen along April a stage for violent fighting between resistance men and the American occupation forces during which more than 280 Iraqis were killed.
According to the media spokesman in the name of the civil administration in Najaf governorate, Saad al-Khaffaji, the clashes which are taking place since one and a half months in Najaf and Koufa cities resulted so far in killing 395 persons and wounding other 580.
Meantime, medical sources said that 18 Iraqis were killed in confrontations between the resistance men and the American occupation forces on Sunday evening in al- Sader quarters in Baghdad, but the occupation forces indicated that 26 resistance men were killed.
According to the occupation forces, confrontations between the resistance and the occupation soldiers in al-Sader city resulted in killing 47 Iraqis on Saturday and Sunday.
Meantime, the house of the Shiite clergy Ayatullah Bashir al-Najafi in Najaf was exposed to fire by attackers; according to his son. Sheikh Ali Bashir al-Najafi said that his father's house " was exposed on Monday to fire from unidentified persons that hit the walls of the house." He stressed that it is " the third attack on his father's house during 10 days." At least, one person was killed and other 20 injured at least in clashes that took place at night between the American forces and the resistance members near the " 20th revolution in Najaf " Three mortars fell at 300 meters distance from Imam Ali shrine during confrontations which were described as violent.
Meantime, the British foreign office announced that two British civilians were killed and a third injured in a car explosion outside the headquarters of the occupation authority in Baghdad.
A spokeswoman for the foreign office said that the two British were killed when the car went off 500 meters from one of the crowded entrances of the so called Green Area in Baghdad, but security sources in Baghdad said that the car is owned by a private security company and was hit by a missile shelling.
Four persons were killed when one armored vehicle went off, according to a spokesman for the American army in Baghdad. But the American spokesman Mark Kemet admitted the killing of only two British and wounding of other two, noting that the reason of the explosion is an implanted explosive.
Meanwhile, the American army announced the killing of two American soldiers on Sunday in a bomb explosion when two American vehicles were running in Falujja city and large number of military men were injured and one civil contractor. On Sunday the American forces announced that one of the soldiers is a marine.
