Zogbi criticizes US - ME policy
Regional-USA, Politics, 5/25/2004

Director of the Washington-based Arab-American Institute in Washington James Zogbi said that discussions on the Middle East issue have deteriorated, pointing out that U.S. President George W. Bush doesn't care for all the destruction and killings in Gaza Strip at the hand of Israeli occupation troops.

In an article published Monday in the Kuwaiti newspaper of 'al-Qabas', Zogbi said President Bush seemed as if he was one of Ariel Sharon's assistants when he defended Israeli crimes against the Palestinians in a recent speech he delivered before the Israeli-American Committee IPAC.

He asserted that Bush policy in the Middle East has yielded repercussions in the Arab homeland in general and in Iraq in particular, pointing out that most Americans reject Bush's policy which is marked by full bias to Israel.
