Syrian-Moroccan memorandum of understanding signed

Syria and Morocco on Monday agreed to continue coordination between Al-Ba'ath Arab Socialist Party and the political parties in Morocco to form a popular front defending Arab homeland issues and achieving progress and development of the Arab societies.

The Moroccan political circles highlighted Syria's national role and steadfastness under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.

They also expressed their support to "Syria's brave stances in facing pressures and attempts of political blackmail."

Assistant Secretary General of al-Ba'ath Arab socialist Party Abdullah al-Ahmar's visit to Morocco showed understanding and concordance in opinions on the current Arab situation and vision over popular work future to confront challenges.

Al-Ahmar and the accompanying delegation returned yesterday evening after a visit to Morocco.
