Court acquits two men of terrorism charges
Morocco, Local, 5/24/2004
The court of appeal of Rabat cleared on Friday, Mustapha Lotfi and Moulay Abdallah Farajani, of terrorism charges.
The two men were sued under the anti-terrorism law enacted in Morocco after the terrorist attacks in Casablanca in May 2003. Under the law, people suspected of terrorism charges appear directly before the court of appeal.
The court also postponed to next June 4 and 11 the hearings in five cases in which 50 persons are sued for terrorism charges.
