Jordan: al- Majd stopped, refusing apology to Saudi Arabia
The Jordanian weekly al-Majd decided yesterday to stop publishing over rejecting giving " explanation " about an article it had published considered damaging for the relations between Jordan and Saudi Arabia. This is, however, after the state security court set that ( apology) as a precondition so as to permit the paper continue publication.

Syria announces new gas discoveries in Palmyra area
Syria on Thursday declared significant gas findings made by a Croatian oil and gas company in the northern central part and underlined the new gas production would allow Syria to export for the first time quantities of the currently all-locally-consumed amount, a senior official in the Ministry of Oil and Mineral resources said.
