Mubarak opens Thebes Glories Museum

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak arrives in Luxor within hours on a brief visit in which he inaugurates monumental projects and inspects monumental sites, which have been restored, according to the Chief of the Supreme Council of Luxor, Al-Disouqi Al-Bana.
He added that Luxor is prepared to receive President Mubarak after modernizing and developing many of its archaeological and tourist sites.
The President opens the new pavilion of Luxor Museum which will display the ancient Egyptian art that houses 140 monumental pieces of Thebes military glories and its great rulers, he said.
The pavilion costs worth LE 17 million according to Al-Disouqi Al-Bana.
