Premier receives Istanbul stock market chairman
Syria-Turkey, Economics, 5/17/2004

Syria's Premier Naji Otari on Sunday received the Chairman of Istanbul Stock Market Othman Bersen and vice-Chairman Huseyin Erkan in the presence of Turkish Ambassador in Damascus.

Talks during the meeting dealt with cooperation aspects between Syria and Turkey, the joint will to enhance them through expanding the volume of the commercial and economic exchange and establish the industrial and investment mutual projects.

Talks also focused on cooperation on the level of banking and financial issues, and to make use of the Turkish experiment in the filed of establishing the market of shares and notes in Damascus.
