Moussa criticizes Amman's world economic Forum over Iraq issue
Regional, Politics, 5/17/2004
Secretary General of Arab League Amr Moussa criticized the World Economic Forum in Amman, Jordan, for attempts to exclude the role of the League and Iraq's neighboring countries from discussing latest developments in the country.
In an interposition at the forum, Moussa described the exclusion as a pre-meditated plan to prevent Arabs from taking part in discussions on the future of Iraq, a member country of the Arab League and part and parcel of the region.
The AL chief wondered whether the withdrawal of US forces from Iraq would be practical or theatrical, stressing that wide-scale chaos and disorder in Iraq required complete, not half, solutions.
