Washington 'outraged and disgusted at treatment of Iraqi prisoners by US soldiers, Burns

The Bush Administration has emphasized its "outrage and disgust" at the treatment of Iraqi prisoners by "some" US soldiers, promising to "punish" those responsible of these acts that "severely damaged the image of America" throughout the world.
This came at a press conference held, Thursday in Rabat, by US Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs, William Burns, prior to his departure after a few-hour visit to Morocco.
