Some 71% of the Israelis support withdrawals from Gaza

An opinion poll issued by the Israeli Yediot Ahronot yesterday showed the increased number in the Israeli society who support withdrawal from Gaza, with the rate reaching 71% in comparison with the 62% in an earlier opinion poll held on May 4th.
The paper addressed the same question to members of the Likud party who recently refused the withdrawal plan from Gaza, prepared by Sharon. The results showed the increasing rate for withdrawal from Gaza, whose rate reached 63% in comparison with 55% who supported the plan in a previous opinion poll.
