Morocco, Algeria resolved to encourage 'business partnership'

Morocco and Algeria, "aware of the numerous opportunities of trade and partnership provided by their respective economies," have voiced resolve to encourage "business partnership" between the two countries' private sectors.
This came at a meeting in Rabat Wednesday, between Moroccan Prime Minister, Driss Jettou, and visiting Speaker of the Algerian national Council (Senate), Abdelkader Bensallah.
A press release from the Prime Minister's office said talks focused on different aspects of bilateral cooperation in the framework of "a new vision marked by the firm resolve of HM King Mohammed VI and President (Abdelaziz) Bouteflika. This will give a new impetus to the social and economic development of the Maghreb region to enable it play its role within the Euro-Mediterranean region."
The Moroccan Premier praised the recent general elections in Algeria and reiterated the Government's congratulations to re-elected President Bouteflika, the press release said.
