Saudi security end chasing suspects without detentions

Saudi Arabia's security forces completed a mopping up operation for al-Ammareyah area to the north of the capital without detaining any suspected persons who clashed in April with the Saudi police.
Saudi security sources explained that most of the security forces are withdrawing from al- Ammareyah area, 35 Km to the north of Riyadh, but the area will continue to be under control.
Three weeks earlier, hundreds of the security forces besieged al-Ammareyah area after gunmen killed five policemen at inspection points at the road leading north to the Saudi capital.
Certain local papers said that one of the fleeing men is Abdul Aziz al-Muqarin, who is suspected to be the official for al-Qaida organization in the Kingdom. Saudi Arabia has been witnessing a wave of explosion and launching fire, al-Qaida organization blamed to be responsible for.
In the most recent cycle of this series, armed men killed by the beginning of May five western engineers in a petrochemical project in Yanbu' city which overlooks the Red Sea. In April five persons were killed at the building of the traffic general administration in Riyadh.
