Prince Talal: People's participation in the rule is necessary

One member of the Saudi ruling family stressed the need of people's participation in the rule accusing "the terrorists" of seeking to topple " the ruling regime " in the Kingdom.
Prince Talal Bin Abdul Aziz, a half brothers for King Fahd said in a press conference held in Kuwait on Wednesday that the aim is " to topple the regime.. They work ( the extremists ) to terrify citizens but they intend the Saudi regime." he warned that if those ( the extremists ) will be able to " reach the rule," this will have an effect on the Gulf and the Arab world.. If any thing happens to the Saudi regime, will Arab states will be in a mess because Saudi Arabia is the headquarters and spring of Islam and the Islamic message and the implementation of the Islamic Sharia."
Prince Talal, who is the chairman of the Arab virtual university which has Kuwait as a headquarters said that the reforms were not stopped because of the developments of conditions " but there are various schools of various ideologies " over the reform process." He stressed that " people's participation in the rule is necessary and can not be avoided. He added that reforms will be taken until the Saudi people will feel they are participating in the rule and the responsibility and will contribute to fighting terrorism."
