Al-Assad receives delegation of Jewish Community

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday morning received a delegation of the Moses Community of Syria origins in the United States headed by Jack Avital.

Talks between the two sides dealt with importance of the positive dialogue and fruitful communication among different sides, asserting Syria's distinguished role and its opening up to other civilizations, religions and cultures throughout history.

The delegation expressed gratitude over hospitality they received in Syria and the kindness of its people as well as great pleasure over the visit. The meeting was attended by the Syrian Ambassador to the United States Emad Mustafa.
