Al-Assad receives Larsen

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday received the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Terje Roed Larsen and the accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed the current situations in the region, particularly in the occupied Palestinian lands and in Iraq. Talks also dealt with the peace process in the Middle East. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara.
