Damascus: reserves assets of al-Mezze attack executors

The Syrian minister of finance Muhammad al-Hussein issued a decision of reserving transferred and non- transferred assets of the executor of al-Mezze attack Ayman Hassan Shalash.
A statement issued by the minister of finance on April 29, 2004, and circulated on sides concerned on May 5th stated to "reserve transferred and non transferred assets of their wives and the executor of the al-Mazze attack, the cashier in al-Quneitra financing department Ayman Hassab Shalash." The same measure was taken against transferred and non transferred assets and their wives of " Muhammad Salama Suleiman the director of Quneitra finance department and Muhammad Khaled al-Sameyah the chairman of the treasure department in the governorate of Quneitra." A source close to the relatives of the detainees said that three out of four of the attackers died in prison and only one is left ( Hassan Shalash), alive and investigations continue with him.
Ayman Shalash was working as a cashier in the governorate of Quneitra and is involved in stealing 10 million Syrian pounds ( USD 200,000) of the governorate's water and electricity bills and taxation," according to the same source.
