Kuwait's foreign minister in Beirut

Kuwait's foreign minister Sheikh Muhammad Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah, accompanied by the foreign minister Jean Obeid arrived in Beirut yesterday on board of a private plane coming from Cairo after they had taken part in the meetings of the Arab foreign ministers.

Al-Sabah said he visits Beirut because his country presides country over the Gulf Co-operation Council GCC and there is a " leadership desire in Kuwait' to foster relations with Lebanon, which is the first " country to sign with it the partnership agreement to establish the free trade zone " today ( Tuesday).

About Cairo meeting he said " were the most important during which very complicated files were dealt with."
