Iranian Vice President: relations with Syria are strategic

Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Riza Aref described as strategic the Syrian-Iranian relations.

During a meeting with Syrian Minister of Industry, Mohammad Safi Abu Dan, Aref underlined the Syrian-Iranian identical viewpoints towards the regional and international issues, particularly regarding the situations in Iraq and in the occupied Palestine.

He expressed Iran's readiness to cooperate with Syria in the field of petrochemicals.

For his part, Abu Dan stressed the good ties between Syria and Iran, asserting that the standing relations are developing day by day.

"All difficulties that blocked the work of Iranian companies which won contracts in Syria have been resolved now," he added.
