Sudan accuses foreign sides of involvement in Darfour rebellions

The Sudanese foreign minister Mustafa Othman Ismael accused western sources, that he did not name, of planning to maintain a rebellion which took place in Darfour west Sudan.
Ismael stressed that Khartoum owns documents revealing the dimension of this plan. He said replying to accusing his country of carrying out mass annihilation operation in Darfour "There is no mass annihilation. Annihilation means getting certain race out of their lands. We want to bring back every persons who was forced to leave his house back home." The Sudanese minister stressed that there are no mass annihilation operations, stressing that the number of killing is not more than 1000 most of them are from the armed forces. But he admitted that humanitarian conditions in Darfour are critical.
On the other hands, news reports in Cairo said that Othman briefed his Arab counterpart foreign ministers who are meeting in Cairo on the situation in Darfour and the developments of peace in Nivasha. The reports said that Othman got an Arab support and understanding for the position of the government of Sudan.
