Morocco supports Sahara solution respectful of its fundamental bases, Minister

Morocco supports a political solution to the Sahara issue, provided that it respects "the fundamental bases of the kingdom, which are sovereignty, territorial integrity and the monarchy regime," said Mohamed El-Yazghi minister of territory planning, environment and water.
El Yazghi, who is also first secretary of the Socialist Union of Popular forces (USFP/one of Morocco's largest political parties), said the latest resolution adopted on April 29 by the security council is "a positive step for Morocco and for all the parties that are directly involved in the issue" as it supports a "mutually accepted settlement."
