Syria celebrates its -Martyr's Day

Honouring the martyrs of the Arab nation who sacrificed their lives for sake of its freedom, and independence, Syria's President Bashar al-Assad visited on Thursday the Martyrs Memorial on Qassion Mount, on the occasion of Martyrs' Day which coincided with the 6th of May.
The president laid a wreath on the memorial and read verses of the holy Quran for the rest of the martyrs souls. Senior army, party, and government officials attended the ceremony along with the president.
