Darfour tribes refuse al-Bashir call to convening a peace conference

Tribes leaders in Darfour district expressed their opposition for the security treatment of the problem, the Sudanese government was persistent to pursue for a time. They also expressed their opposition for the pan conference for peace, development and coexistence in Darfour, called upon by the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.
Sultan Saad Eddine Abdul Rahman Baher Eddine, chairman of the people's administration of al-Masalit tribes to west Darfour stressed the opposition of the tribes he leads to convene the conference which is prepared for by the Sudanese government and states the participation of all people of Darfour to finding out a solution for the problem.
The tribal opposition represents 30 tribes including in a geographical borders of 650 Km and includes 76 people's administration includes 3,000 tribal chieftains distributed on more than 2200 villages.
In a press statement al-Sultan Saad Eddine said that the tribes are no longer confident in the seriousness of the government to deal with the situation especially with its persistence to convene conferences which cost the treasure of the state millions of US dollars. Amounts should be given to the officials of the people's administration in Darfour provinces to spend from it on development and social services to the people of the area, then there will be no problem that had happened.
