Baghdad accepts human rights minister resignation

The occupation authority in Iraq accepted the resignation of the Iraqi human rights minister Abdul Baset Turkey who had submitted it in on April 8 in protest of the American military operations against the Iraqi civilians.
A spokesman for the Iraqi ministry said that the " provisional coalition authority accepted the resignation on Sunday." Turkey was the first human rights minister in Iraq.
