Syrian authorities expect criminality on al-Mezze incident

Investigations underway by the Syrian authorities on al-Mezze incident are inclined to the "criminal " element in the operation which attracted attention to Syria as being a "new" target for international terrorism.
Despite the fact that debated information on the operation during the few past days concentrated on regarding it as a "terrorist" act, however, statements by Syrian officials focused on considering the act as "isolated " and not connected to the context of events taking place in the neighboring states especially Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
Another Syrian official called for not linking between al-Qaida organization operation until results of the investigations appear ultimately. Official sources expected that the action is of " a criminal nature " noting " detailed, and precise information to be announced shortly.." news reports indicated the Syrian nationality of the attackers including a 30-year old man called Ayman Shalash from ( one of the villages of the occupied Syrian Golan heights).
