Otari confers with Jordanian minister on bilateral co-operation

Syria's Prime Minister Naji Otari on Sunday received Jordanian Public Works, Housing and Transportation Minister Raed Abu al-Saud.

Talks during the meeting dealt with bilateral relations of cooperation between the two states and the necessity for developing these relations in various fields, particularly in the field of land, air and railway transportation.

Earlier, the General Assemblies of the Syrian-Jordanian Land and Marine Companies co-chaired by Syrian Transportation Minister Makram Obeid and Jordanian Public Works, Housing Minister and Transportation Raed Abu al-Saud held a meeting.

Obeid stressed the two states' concern to develop the bilateral relations in all domains, particularly in the field of land, air, railway and marine transportation, as well as activating the role of the Syrian-Jordanian Land and Marine Companies. For his part, the Jordanian Minister stressed the deep-rooted and historical relations between the two states.
