Arab League deplores American torturing of Iraqi prisoners

The Arab League condemned the mistreatment and torturing of the Iraqi prisoners by American soldiers, calling for punishing the involved in such brutal practices.
In a statement to press, Spokesman of the Arab League, Hussam Zaki, underlined the AL's denunciation of abusing the Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghareeb prison, asserting that such behavior violates the human rights and the international laws, particularly Geneva convention which provides for protecting civilians under occupation.
