Occupation forces incur in Gaza, cordons Arafat's quarters in Ramullah

A Palestinian security source said that forces from the Israeli occupation forces enhanced by 15 armored vehicles escorted by two bulldozers broke yesterday at dawn into Khan Younis to the southern of Gaza and destroyed five houses and inflicted damages in other 6 houses.
During the breaking in operation, two Israeli army members were slightly wounded by one mortar shell fired by Palestinians in Gaza. An Israeli military source explained that two soldiers were injured near Neve Dekalim settlement in Goush Katif settlement complex to the south of Gaza.
Simultaneously, the Israeli army detained four Palestinians in the West Bank claming that three of them are wanted.
In Ramullah in the west Bank, news reports said that special forces from the Israeli occupation forces were deployed in the surrounding of the headquarters of the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat yesterday morning.
Palestinian sources said that patrols for the Israeli forces were seen in the region and areas neighboring Arafat's headquarters.
Arafat defied the Israeli threats and talked on Thursday to thousands of Palestinians who demonstrated in Gaza, in solidarity with him saying that all Palestinians are "project for martyrs." In a speech broadcast through loudspeakers from Ramullah, Arafat stressed that peace, security and coexistence between the Palestinians and the Israelis can not be attained without the recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people to "Independence, freedom, and the independent state with Jerusalem as a capital." The participants in the demonstration from all Palestinian groups said that harming Arafat will destroy the peace process and will have a grave results on the Israelis.
These developments come at a time when an Israeli military source said that Israel continues complete cordoning of the Palestinian territories.
