al-Sharq al-Awsat: Minister of Information: recent incidents prove that Syria is also targeted by terrorists
Syria, Politics, 4/30/2004

Syria's Minister of Information Ahmad al-Hasan said that the terrorist attack that took place in Damascus two-days before has proved that Syria, like others, is facing terrorist acts.

In an interview given to the London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper, al-Hasan underlined that the terrorist acts refute the allegations claiming Syria provides heavens for terror.

"Syria like others has been exposed to terrorist actions," the Minister added.

He pointed to the Syrian people's rejection and denunciation to such acts and their support to their President Bashar al-Assad.
