One Kuwaiti al-Salafeyah movement Sheikh was brought to judiciary
Kuwait-Iraq, Politics, 4/29/2004

News reports in Kuwait said that the Kuwaiti authorities brought the former secretary general of the Salafeyah movement in Kuwait Sheikh Hamid al-Ali to the attorney general under the charge of criticizing the Arab leaders and accusing them of giving up Iraq.

Sheikh Ali Layer said that the decision came because of the strong criticism made by his client against the Arab leaders and accusing them of giving up Iraq.

Meantime, the committee in charge of supporting the Iraqi people at the Kuwaiti nation council accused the American occupation forces of pursuing the collective punishment policy in several Iraqi cities and this resulted in killing hundreds of civilians.

In a statement, the committee said that those who plan to transfer the authority to the Iraqis after two months should not bombard the Iraqi cities by artillery and jets.
