Syrian- Turkish free trade zone agreement to be finalized

The Economic Syrian delegation, chaired by Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Ghassan Habash, concluded on Wednesday the first session of talks regarding the means of establishing "a free trade zone Agreement " with the Turkish side.
During the three-day talks, both sides discussed the draft agreement, particularly its articles, gradual customs' rates lowering of the industrial materials and the way of liberating the exchange of agrarian products.
The two sides agreed to hold the next session of talks in Damascus during next July, when it is believed to conclude the negotiations regarding the agreement.
