NDP : Privatization step to modernizing banking sector

Egypt's Chairman of the National Democratic Party (NDP) Economic Committee, Mahmoud Mohi Eddin described privatization of the banking sector as the first step to modernize it.
In his address on the second day of meetings of the financial and monetary conference, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo (AmCham), Mohi Eddin said that the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) was continuing to develop banking legislation to accommodate developments on the international level.
