Sahara issue: senegal supports solution that respects Morocco's territorial unity
Morocco-Senegal, Politics, 4/28/2004
Senegal is attached to a "political solution" to the Sahara that respects Morocco's "territorial integrity and national sovereignty," Senegal's ambassador in Rabat, Ibou Ndiaye, said Tuesday.
In an interview with MAP on the occasion of the Moroccan-Senegalese economic days (April 28-29), the Senegalese diplomat reiterated the "strong attachment" of his country, of president Abdoulaye Wade and of the Senegalese people to a solution that respects the territorial unity of Morocco, underlining that Senegal has a clear-cut and non-negotiable stance over this issue.
