Al-Shara's Political Review on Regional developments

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara stressed that the Arab nation has a heritage and strong bases to face the difficult reality and to deal wisely with the current challenges.
In a political review before participants in the of the Central Course for Rehabilitation of the Leading Cadres at the National Union of the Syrian Students, al-Shara talked about the Iraqi people's sufferings and the great challenges they face under the occupation, pointing out to Syria's firm stands towards the Iraqi people and the international efforts to end the occupation and preserve Iraq's unity and sovereignty.
Regarding the situation in the occupied Palestinian lands, Foreign Minister pointed out to a semi international unanimity on the fact that the Israeli and American policy led to the absence of peace in the region.
"Reforming the Arab League and its mechanisms is inevitable in order to be the correct framework of uplifting the joint Arab action," Shara added.
He also stressed that reviving Arab solidarity and activating it is a urgent need in facing the dangerous disorder in the current Arab situation.
