UAE did not respond to Moussa's request to visit it
United Arab Emirates-Regional, Politics, 4/26/2004
One Arab diplomatic source in Cairo said on Saturday that the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa asked for visiting the United Arab Emirates in the course of his current Arab tour, but the government of the United Arab Emirates did not respond to his request.
The source added that the fact that officials in the UAE " did not positively move towards responding to the desire of the AL secretary general," reflects that the "atmospheres of differences and unrest between the UAE and the secretary general surfaced during the Sharm esh Sheikh Summit in march, 2003 are not eliminated yet.
