Syria holds Israel responsible for ME conditions

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk Shara on Thursday shouldered Israel responsibility of the current situation the Mideast peace process has reached to and urged the international community to make it abide by the international resolutions.

During a meeting with Norway's Peace envoy to the Middle East, Yakin Piyorn Lian, al-Shara said: "this step on the part of the international community is necessary to make Israel implement its resolutions especially those relevant to the withdrawal of the occupied Arab territories, because it embodies a cornerstone in any just and comprehensive settlement." Norway's peace envoy expressed his country's denunciation of crimes of killing and assassinations perpetrated by the Israeli forces of occupation against the defenseless Palestinian people and his political leaderships.
