Al-Assad meets with Arab journalists federation delegation

President Bashar al-Assad received on Thursday members of the Secretariat General of the Arab Journalists Federation chaired by Ibrahim Nefe'.

Talks during the meeting dealt with several important causes on top of which are the situations in the occupied Palestinian territories and in Iraq in addition to Syria's firm stances regarding them.

The delegation briefed President al-Assad on the agenda of the general conference of the General Secretariat.

Al-Assad stressed the important and the big role of information in this critical stage as a means for enlightenment peoples and showing facts.

He called for commitment to objectivity in the informational work, escorting the big developments in the field of information and benefiting from them to form a public opinion that defends the Arab just causes and enhances ties among citizens of the Arab Nation.
