Nearly 1.5 million children do not attend school in Morocco, Minister

Nearly 1.5 million children aged 9 to 15, most of them in "difficult (social and economic) situation" do not attend school revealed Wednesday the Moroccan Secretary of State in charge of literacy and Informal education.

Najima Rhozali who was speaking during a visit to schools in the outskirts of Marrakech, on the occasion of the World Week on "Education for All," called for "new pedagogic approach" taking into account these children and their parent's situation.
