London Marathon, Morocco's Gharib third

World champion, Morocco's Jaouad Gharib finished Sunday third in the London Marathon in a personal-best 2:07:02.
Gharib's former record, achieved in August 2003 in the Marathon of Paris, is 2:08:31.
Kenyan Evans Rutto won the London Marathon, clocking 2:06:18. His compatriot, Sammy Korir, came in second in 2:06:48.
Twice-winner of the Marathon, Moroccan Abdelkader Mouaziz, finished 7th, clocking 2:09:42.
In women's race, Kenya's Margaret Okayo took the lead with 2:22:35 ahead of Russia's Lyudmilla Petrova (2:26:02) and Romania's Constantina Tomescu Dita (2:26:52).
